2017-2018 Dallas County Consumer Decision Making Contest

Dallas County’s CDM Contest will be held on February 8th at 7 pm.

Registration will open on January 5th at 9 am and close on Feb. 1st at 9 pm via the form at the bottom of this page.

Members per team.   Teams consist of 3 or 4 members of the same age.

Age Divisions. This contest will have three age divisions; Junior, Intermediate, and Senior. Junior members will be allowed to move up to the intermediate age division in order to complete a team. Juniors and intermediates are not allowed to move up to the senior age division.

Contest Rules.  Contestants will judge 5 classes from the current category study guide (linked below) and one mystery class.  Juniors will not give any reasons.  Intermediates will give one set of reasons.  Seniors will give two sets.

  • Digital cameras
  • Handsfree Bluetooth Car Kits

  • Cookware
  • Mystery
